And much as the Catholic apologists claim that Christian meditation is "different" from zazen, I find a lot more in common than different.

I think that Robert Graves is on to something, Heinrich. I'm hearing a lot about non-dualistic thinking these days, and that seems to be along those lines.beth cioffolettihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09300116274007165612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822894759353679437.post-47150036922827522262011-05-22T12:15:14.758-05:002011-05-22T12:15:14.758-05:00Nice article, thanks for the information.Nice article, thanks for the information.sewa mobilhttp://griyamobilkita.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822894759353679437.post-10436226520931664892011-05-22T10:08:44.872-05:002011-05-22T10:08:44.872-05:00Very good - helpful - i read an interview with Rob...Very good - helpful - i read an interview with Robert Graves yesterday, about thinking poetically as a salvation for science and technology - the best, he said, are those who think in a sort of trance and reason rather than logic -heinrich antinomianhttp://antinomianismmmmm.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822894759353679437.post-39154675605166816092011-05-22T05:53:12.708-05:002011-05-22T05:53:12.708-05:00Hi Beth,

Much has changed in my life, much is still the same.It seems the Buddhist path has unfolded in front of me more than the Catholic path. I suppose the fact that we choose to live a path is what counts. Thank you for the post. The picture of Brother Paul writing reminded me of my vist back in 2008. I wake up alone in the middle of the night now as well. There is solace in that.
Thanks again
SeanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822894759353679437.post-48876106377323580692011-05-21T19:00:11.496-05:002011-05-21T19:00:11.496-05:00Thank you for this, Beth.Thank you for this, Beth.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16052081819882002321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822894759353679437.post-81210590260779457262011-05-19T15:58:18.984-05:002011-05-19T15:58:18.984-05:00Congratulations, Brian, on becoming a deacon! Louis has been a spiritual director to all of us here, not only Brother Paul.

I will be ordained a Catholic permanent deacon this coming Saturday....your blog has certainly been an important part of my formation..I thank you!

Fr. Louis had this to say about the diaconate..as he was ordained a "transitional" deacon before his priestly ordination..

"The first thing about the diaconate is that it is big. The more I think about it the more I realize that it is a Major Order. You are supposed to be the strength of the Church. You receive the Holy Spirit ad robur, not only for yourself, but to support the whole Church."Brianhttp://www.abookofeverything.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822894759353679437.post-21244239735441998312011-05-19T06:44:28.974-05:002011-05-19T06:44:28.974-05:00And thank you, JofIndia, for taking me on an exoti...And thank you, JofIndia, for taking me on an exotic and colorful trip through India!!beth cioffolettihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09300116274007165612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-822894759353679437.post-58116687726716756332011-05-18T22:18:13.131-05:002011-05-18T22:18:13.131-05:00Thank you very much for this post.
