Words of Hope - Fr. Alfred Delp S.J. - February 2, 1945

Alfred Delp SJ was hanged Feb 2 1945 for his part in an anti-Nazi group planning a new Christian order after the defeat of Hitler.

“If thru one man’s life there is a little more love and kindness, a little more light and truth in the world, he will not have lived in vain.”

“The conditions of happiness have nothing whatever to do with outward existence. They are exclusively dependent on man’s inner attitude and steadfastness which enable him, even in the most trying circumstances, to form at least a notion of what life is about.”
