Also, the Four Elements - these sentiments are so true. Last night (New Years eve) I attended Holy Mass with the Missionaries of Charity - and a wonderful priest from India (now at St. Agnes Church on 43rd St - NYC)celebrated. He mentioned in his homily the same sentiment as Lax - "Living in the present moment is where you will find God and holiness." Accepting who you are. This priest said that "all is good." Yes, even the bad things that happen in the world, the bad that we do, the bad that happens to us." It is in the "turning away" from the bad - that leaning towards the good - this is where holiness is found.
God bless you - I pray that you and all your loved ones have a very Happy and Healthy New Year!!!

ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity (and minimalism) of Lax.
Happy New Year to you and your family as well!
