as to James George Search: Journey on the Inner Path
this is on the net - its a good read and tells a lot about
the kind of person he is ---

my friend of some 55 years who lives next door
and is dying of heart failure we talk about this getting dead stuff and you can believe this or hope that but no one
is certain of the state of the dead - O.T." the living know they they must die but the dead no nothing at all "

a wonderful reality TV show would a group of people
sitting around discussing there pending deaths
i think such would be very enlightening ---

  2. I like the notion that death is not the end but a gateway.

The other day I was talking to an elderly woman who told me that the people who live long are just "lucky". I told her that I didn't necessarily think that those who die young are unlucky, maybe they just get to go first.

Even though there is a sense of dread and uncertainty about death, the fear that we have been living a lie and "wasted" our lives by not being true to something, there is also some daring adventure about the prospect as well. Yeah, maybe death is darkness and despair and emptiness, but maybe there is something on the other side of that darkness and the only way to find out is to go through it.

I guess they don't call it the cloud of unKNOWING for nothing.
