Nagasaki: the Sufferings of Christ

  1. my Uncle Nunzio was a US Marine, waiting to invade the Japanese mainland...he had seen the Japanese Army retreat from the islands as the US forces occupied them...he told me of one island in particular where the Japanese had given every native a rifle and ammunition, then the Japanese retreated toward the mainland...
    when my Uncle Nunzio arrived on that particular island, he told me that all of the native people had used the Japanese rifles to kill themselves :(
