Cardinal Danielou's hope is like a cosmic wave driving creation--I like how he uses "bears on", as if it were the great push. I can feel that push from his words. That is surely different from the hope that flutters in my mind and heart about what I want, and then it makes sense to understand that I need to be immersed in that wave and let it carry me. Thanks, Beth, for this selection.
