trees with snow (Harlan Hubbard woodcut)

Harlan Hubbard Woodcut

  1. The snow had melted with rising temperatures and rains, flooding creeks around here, but last night the air and earth cooled and there is glorious snow coating all the branches as in Hubbard's woodcuts. The sky is gray with the sun something of a pearl, and the roads are slippery, as is life. Beth, these are wonderful postings for Advent.

    1. I think that Harlan fits right in here. I'm in Florida now, and the temperatures are in the 80s today I think, but I still fall back on the grey skies and snow and ice images for Advent.
