Tiger
A tiger
is like a
butterfly,
thought
the
tiger,
here today,
gone tomorrow
He is like a
bird - a hawk,
forever
vigilant
He is even
a little
like an
elephant,
Ponderous
& basically
gentle
Not too
gentle,
said a
younger
tiger
I only meant it
as a metaphor,
said the old one,
A tiger is like
a number of
things

i don't quite get it- the tiger is thinking then where does the speech come in so the younger hears him? Is the last line pythogorean
ReplyDeletePerhaps this is an inner dialogue the tiger is having, and those thoughts of a younger developmental level intrude.
