So nice to see a new post - missed you, hope you are doing well. As a many year volunteer with the Missionaries of Charity, I am quite excited about Sunday's canonization. I wonder what Fr. Louis thought about Mother Teresa - he must have known who she was - I have not seen any mention of her in his writings, Have you?

Certainly wasnt addressed to me but it is unlikely Merton ever knew of her. She became famous in 1967 after a BBC story. And more so in the '70s.
